Girls Uniform

  • Where a headscarf or hijab is worn, it must be plain black, closely wrapped or tied back,
    with the face clearly visible.
     
  • Plain white school shirt or blouse with stiff collar that buttons up to the neck and tucked into
    skirt/trousers. (Not roll or turtle neck, not fitted)
     
  • School Tie (subject to colour of house) - knotted in a conventional way.
     
  • Plain black “V” neck sweatshirt with school logo. (Available from Frank Harrisons, Kershaw Garden Shopping Centre, Halifax Rd, Brighouse (01484) 719288.
     
  • A proper coat may be worn (no sports tops, denim or hoodies).
     
  • Plain, dark grey/black school skirt or school trousers of full length.
     
  • Plain grey or black socks/tights.
     
  • Plain low-heeled, sensible black shoes. (Trainers, `trainer-shoes` and boots are not
    permitted; shoes must be black only with no other colours or logos).
     
  • Extremely lightweight footwear similar to dance pumps or slippers are not suitable for school.

     Gum shield / shin pads when required

     Towel

BASIC RULES

No jewellery will be allowed to be worn under ANY circumstances, including recentley pierced ears. No plasters allowed.

School Logo Tracksuit bottoms will only be permitted at the discretion of the teacher. No other type of track suit bottoms will be allowed.

If your son/daughter is ill, injured or unable to take part in PE they must bring a note from their parent/guardian on each occasion.  If it is a long term condition a doctor’s note will be required.

Furthermore, ALL students must still bring FULL PE KIT when excused, as students will be officiating, coaching or acting as technicians.  This will also ensure that when a student accompanies their group on an activity in bad weather, they will have a clean, dry uniform to change back into at the end of the lesson.

Students will have the opportunity to hand in valuable possesions at the start of each lesson in a clearrly named plastic bag or envelope.
